Hey ladies! This week, while driving from The One Tribe to pick up my son from school, I tuned into a podcast that really hit home. It was all about how women juggle so many roles, and the toll it takes on our well-being. How many of you feel this way? We’re moms, partners, daughters, sisters, friends, and professionals, all while trying to stay healthy and sane. It can feel like a lot, right? There are days when I think, “How can I keep up?” Between trying to eat right, work out, get my steps in, take my supplements, and squeeze in some self-care, it feels impossible. No wonder I sometimes feel like I’m not doing enough! So, I had to pause and ask myself: What are my true priorities?

My gut reaction was: Family first, work second, me last. Sound familiar? But here’s what I’m learning: if we don’t prioritize our well-being, everything else suffers. When we’re stressed or running on empty, it spills over into our families, our jobs, and our overall happiness. I’ve noticed this firsthand as a mom; when I’m frazzled, the whole house feels it. So, as hard as it can be, I’m starting to shift my mindset: What if I put myself first? By doing that, I’m setting up my family and work life for success, too.
Taking care of ourselves isn't selfish—it’s crucial. When we feel good mentally, physically, and emotionally, everything else falls into place. For me, when I’m taking care of myself, I’m more playful with my kids, more patient with my partner, and just overall happier. Can you relate?

Let’s talk goals—nothing extreme, just simple, manageable things that make a real difference. Here are mine:
Exercise: My goal is to work out four times a week. Every day would be ideal, but for now, four is realistic.
Balanced Nutrition: I aim for 80% healthy eating and leave 20% for those indulgences—like dark chocolate, weekend wine, or a pumpkin spice latte.
Sleep: My 15-month-old is finally sleeping better (cross your fingers it lasts!), which means I can focus on getting 6-8 hours of sleep. It’s a game-changer for my energy and mood.

I’m realizing things won’t always be perfect, and that’s okay. The key is focusing on what I can control and remembering that self-care is essential, not selfish. As a mom, the phrase "the days are long but the years are short" resonates with me so much right now. I want to enjoy these hectic, beautiful days while feeling my strongest and best self—for decades to come. Burning out isn’t an option.
So, what about you? How are you finding balance in your life? What strategies help you stay focused on what really matters? Let’s share and support each other on this journey.
Here’s to building strong, healthy bodies and minds!
Amanda
